Picanol Rapier Jacquard Weaving Platform

The platform uses rapier weft insertion technology developed by Picanol, where mechanical rapiers transfer the weft yarn across the warp shed, ensuring stable yarn placement and consistent pick formation during patterned weaving.

The machine operates with a Jumbo electronic jacquard system from Stäubli and a jacquard harness system from Gruppo Borsa, enabling precise warp lifting and accurate pattern formation across the full fabric width.

Weft yarn feeding is controlled using Chrono X3 electronic feeders from IRO, ensuring consistent yarn tension and supply. Machine operation is managed through the BlueBox control system from Picanol, allowing monitoring, parameter adjustment, and production tracking.

The platform supports production of upholstery fabrics, decorative furnishing textiles, jacquard home textiles, and engineered woven patterns. The weaving section operates in a fully air-conditioned environment, ensuring stable yarn behavior, reduced breakage, improved pattern accuracy, and consistent fabric quality. All production is executed on a make-to-order basis aligned with buyer specifications.
